- "Coimbra Airport Shuttle" is a registered trademark owned by Traveltix, Lda., a private law company organized under the laws of Portugal, VAT No. PT 514517514, with legal headquarters address in Parque Industrial de Taveiro, Lote 8, 3045-508 Coimbra, Portugal.
- This site is operated by Traveltix, Lda.
- All the following references to "Coimbra Airport Shuttle" shall be deemed as expressions of the commercial activity of Traveltix, Lda.
Shuttle service
- We provide a door to door shared transfer between Coimbra and Lisbon/Oporto airport.
- You may expect to share your ride with unknown passengers in a full-size passenger van or a standard passenger car.
Booking and payment
- The Airport Shuttle service must be booked on our website. Booking by phone is also possible, subject to a surcharge of 5 Euros.
- Major debit and credit cards are accepted as well as PayPal, MB and MB Way.
- Should you have any problem regarding booking or payment, please get in contact with our customer care (+351 304 505 304).
Pick-up/Drop-off
- The pick-up/drop-off can be at any address within our operating range and is up to our driver the passengers’ pick-up/drop-off sequence.
- Pick-ups in a radius of 10 km from Coimbra city centre may start one hour before departure to the airport (depending on the number of passengers to pick-up and distances travelled).
- Pick-ups in a radius between 10 km and 30 km from Coimbra city centre may start one hour and half before departure to the airport (depending on the number of passengers to pick-up and distances travelled).
- Pick-ups in a radius between 30 km and 50 km from Coimbra city centre may start two hours before departure to the airport (depending on the number of passengers to pick-up and distances travelled).
- Pick-ups in a radius between 50 km and 70 km from Coimbra city centre may start two hours and half before departure to the airport (depending on the number of passengers to pick-up and distances travelled).
- When pick-up service starts, we share with you our driver’s mobile and shuttle tracking location via text message.
- You will be notified by text message when you are the next passenger to be picked-up, in case you fail to show up our driver will call you and wait for you a maximum of 5 minutes.
- In case your pick-up/drop-off point is in a narrow or pedestrian street you will be picked-up or dropped-off at the nearest available point.
Luggage allowance
- You are entitled to one checked suitcase and one personal item (e.g., a purse or a computer bag or a shoulder bag).
- You may take extra suitcases for an extra fee. In case the passenger shows up at the shuttle with more luggage than declared at the booking, its transportation may be declined.
- The overall dimensions of each suitcase must not exceed 158 cm (height + length + width).
- Should you require to take with you bikes, surf boards, ski/snowboard gear, baby buggy, golf clubs or any other oversized luggage, please get in contact with our customer care (+351 304 505 304).
Trip duration
- Your trip between Coimbra and Oporto airport takes about 1:45.
- Your trip between Coimbra and Lisbon airport takes about 2:15.
- We do not take any responsibility for delays caused by traffic congestion, road or weather conditions.
Flight delays
- In case your flight or luggage delivery gets extremely delayed we do not wait for you but we allow you to get on in the next shuttle with available seats subject to an extra fee case you do not have a flexible fare.
- Our customer care monitors flight status and will get in contact with you to help you arranging your transfer to Coimbra.
- The last departure from the airport may wait up to one hour for any passenger delays related to flights, luggage claim, customs inspection, or border control.
Changing or canceling your booking
- All flex fare bookings are changeable or refundable up to 2 hours prior to your outward journey departure, and the refund of the base fare is subject to a processing fee in case you cancel your booking.
- All non flex fare bookings are not changeable or refundable at any time.
- Partially used bookings are non-refundable (use of part of the trip or return trip on a return ticket).
Refund processing fee
- Refunds to credit cards or PayPal with correspondent credit note issue are subject to a 5€ processing fee.
- Refunds by wire transfer with correspondent credit note issue are subject to a 10€ processing fee.
Shuttle service delay liability
- In case our shuttle service delay incur extra expenses to our passengers it is our responsibility to cover them.
Shuttle identification
- Our characterized vehicles are black and have “Coimbra Airport Shuttle” marked on the front, back and side.
- Our uncharacterized vehicles have a visible display in the windshield with the inscription "Coimbra Airport Shuttle".
Onboard amenities
- Air conditioner, drinking water, newspapers and magazines, internet and mobile charging capabilities.
Food and beverages policy
- For the comfort of everyone onboard, eating and drinking onboard is not permitted, except water.
Pet policy
- No animals are allowed in the shuttle except assistance dogs.
- To carry an animal travel cage, please get in contact with our customer care (+351 304 505 304).
Special needs
- For wheelchair transportation, children or infant car seat, or any other special need, please get in contact with our customer care (+351 304 505 304).
Passengers admission
- Only passengers with a valid ticket are admitted in the shuttle.
- Our shuttle driver reserves the right to refuse admission to any passenger that fails to have a ticket with required extras or fails to present any discount entitlement document.
- Our shuttle driver reserves the right to refuse admission to any passenger apparently drunk, under the effect of drugs, or with improper behavior, that in any circumstances may harm the safety of the other passengers or the riding service.
- Refusal of admission is at all times reported to local authorities and do not give the right of refund.
Lost & Found

Insurance
- Our shuttle service has civil liability and personal damage insurance.
Complaints
- Our shuttle service has an official complaints book at your disposal.
Governing Law
- These Terms shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, Portuguese law. The Courts of Portugal shall have the exclusive jurisdiction to determine any disputes, which may arise out of, under, or in connection with any agreement.
